On behalf of Napier Boys’ High School, it is our pleasure to host the 2022 NZ Super Eight Schools’ Cultural Festival

Welcome | Nau mai, haere mai.  Tiro atu ki te pae, mauria atu tō korowai, to all of the Teachers, Coaches, Managers, Performers and Parents to Napier Boys’ High School.

This festival will provide an opportunity for our participating boys to showcase their perseverance, teamwork, skills and emotional strength – celebrating the culmination of the hard work, commitment and many weeks/months of practicing prior to this event. This is a chance for the Super Eight Schools to compete and strive to give their very best as a school or as individuals. Covid has, in recent times, made these events difficult so we are extremely pleased that we can once again participate and engage in friendly rivalry.

Supers Eight schools collectively reflect a traditional ethos of education and equally hold on to similar values and aspirations.  Please take this opportunity to build relationships and grow together as friends and competitors in the spirit of good competition. My hope is that your participation will awaken our competitive ambitions and set the tone for other cultural events to follow.
